We have a Waller researcher interested in Elgin County. His name is Charles Crawford and he says; "My G grandfather William Manning Waller, son of George Waller, married my G grandmother Leah Bartlett Lake, daughter of Joseph Lake, on 2/24/1849, in the Registry Office of Totnes, County of Devon, England. They were both from the town of My Berry Pomeroy, located close to Totnes."

"They emigrated to St Thomas, Ontario, Canada in 1851."

St Thomas, Yarmouth Twp, Elgin Co (Currently Exists) - Established about 1810 as the capital of a settlement established by Thomas Talbot in 1803; Became a city in 1881
